Care, Passed From One Family to Another

Essential Postpartum is proud to partner with One Heart Pantry to help postpartum and baby supplies move directly from families who no longer need them to families who do.

Postpartum care should not depend on what a family can afford. Through this mutual-aid partnership, we collect new and gently used essentials and place them back into the community—extending the life of useful items while helping more families feel supported during the tender transition into life with a new baby.

How It Works

Families in the Essential community can donate postpartum and baby supplies they have finished using. Together with One Heart Pantry, we make sure those items reach families who can use them now.

It is a simple cycle of community care:

One family gives. Another family receives. Care continues.

What We Collect

Depending on current community needs, we may accept:

• Unopened postpartum recovery supplies

• Unopened diapers, wipes and feeding supplies

• New or gently used baby clothing

• Swaddles, blankets and burp cloths

• Baby carriers and other newborn essentials

• Unopened personal-care and hygiene products

Please check our current donation guidelines before dropping anything off, as our most-needed items and available storage may change.

Mutual aid is rooted in the understanding that all of us move through seasons of having something to offer and seasons of needing support. There is no hierarchy between giving and receiving—both are part of caring for one another.
